Just within the six week deadline, Rockstar Games have lodged their appeal with the Video Appeals Committee to turnover their decision to ban Manhunt 2.
Rockstar notified the Video Appeals Committee who has the power to overturn the BBFC ruling to ban the game in the UK.
The Video Appeals Committee will now have to organise a date for a hearing which will take into account both Rockstar's and the BBFC's reasonings as well as viewing demonstrations of the game itself.
Whilst Rockstar are no stranger to controversy, it's obviosuly going to be a tense time for the company who have also announced that the latest version of their flagship game, Grand Theft Auto, will be delayed until next year.
